For more than 60 years, The Village of St. Edward has offered supportive senior living to families across Greater Akron. As a not-for-profit, locally operated community rooted in the legacy of the Dominican Sisters, we treat every resident like a neighbor, with the warmth and familiarity of the community they already know. Our monthly rental program means families pay only for the level of care needed today, with room to adjust as those needs change over time.

Built with the same comfort, care, and monthly rental flexibility you'll find at Fairlawn, Green, and Wadsworth, Brimfield offers assisted living and memory care in a brand-new setting designed from the ground up around comfort, dignity, and everyday connection. The Village is made up of four communities across Greater Akron: Fairlawn, Green, Wadsworth, and Brimfield, our newest community, currently under construction. Each community has its own neighborhood and its own history, but all four share the same commitment to comfort, dignity, and care under one monthly rental program. With our monthly rental model, there's no large upfront entry fee, just the services you need now, with room to increase care as needs evolve.
