Dear Resident, Families, and Community,

As shared in yesterday’s communication, we are excited by the revised guidelines which permit outdoor visits for our Assisted Living Residents and Families, continuing with our window and facetime visits for Nursing Care and looking to opening the dining room for Independent Living. While these are just small steps, we know that they provide for more opportunities and quality of life for Residents.

As we look to begin our outdoor visitation for Assisted Living (which includes The Village Assisted Living Memory Care), we wanted to provide further clarification on visits. The newly revised guidance, allows for outdoor visits only with many restrictions including limits on numbers of visitors, the number of visits that can be accommodated weekly, the duration of the visit, and protocols to prevent potential exposure of the COVID-19 virus. Our management team and staff has created plans to allow all Residents and Families this important time together. We have developed these plans and policies based on the guidance that exists and to maintain the safety of the Residents. We appreciate your understanding of limits that must exist.

We will continually to review and adapt these policies as we progress through these first several weeks.
Outdoor visits and Facetime calls can be scheduled through Resident Life.

Thank you for your continued support and trust in The Village,

Danielle Maur
VP of Operations
