The Village of St Edward extends a warm welcome to Vondea Sheaffer, Vice President of Development. Vondea will be working to grow private and public support for Village’s programs and facilities. She most recently served as Manager, Development and Endowment for the National Inventors Hall of Fame and previously worked for Akron Children’s Hospital, Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) and Bank One. Vondea also serves as President of the Marlington Alumni Association, her high school alma mater. She is also on the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Northeast Ohio chapter.

Vondea earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Akron and her Masters of Public Administration from Kent State University. She and her husband, Dennis live in Hartville and she enjoys gardening, cycling, needlework and spending time with their three grown daughters and their spouses.
