The Village of St Edward to provide Free Seminar I’m Still Here…Come Find Me! This event is sponsored in part by the Frank P. Kaufmann Fund for Memory Care Education and Advocacy.

Fairlawn, Ohio – The Village of St Edward is honored to bring nationally-known speaker, consultant and author, Diana Waugh, RN, BSN to the Fairlawn area to conduct a community wide informative seminar on memory loss. Diana brings both formal education and years of nursing experience to her audience. She exemplifies the philosophy that teachers don’t teach but rather they create an environment where learners want to learn.

Please join us for I’m Still Here…Come Find Me! On Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 6:30 pm to 8 pm in Edward Hall 3131 Smith Road located in the lower level of The Village of St Edward.

Diana will offer innovative, communication solutions and proven techniques, presented in a straightforward, yet humorous manner that will help families, friends and professionals better communicate with loved ones suffering from cognitive loss. Diana believes it is not always possible for us to “make everything better” but as care givers we do hold the power to “make everything human.”

Her approach addresses the devastation felt by everyone dealing with memory loss while providing support, encouragement and a better life for both the person suffering and those communicating with them.

Registered guests will enjoy a free dessert buffet, refreshments and door prizes. For more information and to register, contact Annette Walters, 234-466-5253 or email Annette.walters@vsecommunities.org
